'Selecting for better outcomes: the rationale for using fluoroquinolones in CAP' was the focus of the symposium held by Bayer Schering Pharma (BSP) at the European Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ECCMID). Our role included inviting an international faculty, developing the agenda with the company and the faculty, briefing faculty and developing presentations. We worked with BSP's designer and printer for the meeting materials, signage and stage dressing, and the company's congress department for logistics. In addition, our team was onsite to ensure the smooth running of the event.
